but this paper is perfect for Alcohol Markers

I bought these because I just bought a large set of Spectrum Noir alcohol markers that only came in 5 sheets. I'm left handed and was worried about smearing the ink on the paper, but this paper is perfect for alcohol markers. It doesn't soak up all the ink at once like some cards do, and there's enough time for the colors to blend. With their help I was able to make cute greeting cards.

Great alternative to Neenah Smooth paper.

I usually use Nina Solor's smooth paper, but it's expensive, so I decided to try it. I am very happy with the purchase. Takes alcohol markers very well. Easy to mix. I tested Copics and Spectrum Noir markers. While not as smooth as Nina, she is very similar. It seems to require a little more ink, but for the price you can't beat it. I will save my Neenah paper for important art and use it for coloring.

Pros
  • kraft paper
Cons
  • boring packaging

Leakage Issues

This paper is good but when I try to use alcohol markers (several different brands) I have terrible leakage issues. It doesn't seem to matter how far I stay from the lines, they always blur, and I even have trouble trying to trace them before or after coloring. When I try to shuffle it gets worse. I was disappointed after reading the reviews and relying on a reputable brand like Spectrum Noir. Can it work for other people with other straps?

Great alcohol marker paper!

I bought this after trying Cooic brand alcohol markers. I use spectrum markers. This paper is much better than Copic. I had very little bleed, the ink hardly bled, the paper applies smoothly and the colors are vibrant. Paper thickness is also what I prefer (think index cards). I will use this paper again. I'm deducting a star because the packaging was open on one side which allowed the papers to get dirty/crumpled. From the way it was packaged I assume it was sent in that condition.
