At first I was discouraged because 2 of the 4 D-ring screws would not come loose and were very easy to remove. So I searched the internet for hacks that might help me. None of them worked. But perseverance and patience paid off. I took the pliers, grabbed the center pole and unscrewed it. I've applied WD-40 and hopefully can screw them back into my bag I bought them for.

Two of the four D rings I received work great and look great. The other two rings cannot be unscrewed because the screw heads are slightly bent. However, the seller was very attentive to my questions and agreed to my proposed solution, since I was satisfied with half of the goods delivered. Excellent, communicative customer service - I will definitely shop from this store again should I need additional bag accessories.
