Great little generator

A smart little thing. Much quieter than I expected. Ideal for camping. It just buzzes. Purr. Like a winner. Fired up right away. Follow the directions before you start and it's mint. I used 93 for the first run. Never hesitated.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • A few negatives

Great value for money

I bought this to replace a Honda EU2200i that someone stole. The Craftsman is quieter and starts reliably the first time. It's more powerful than the Honda and a lot cheaper as the latter's price has gone up. I am very happy with it. It takes pride of place next to the patio door this winter in case we repeat the 5 days of ice and snow and no power we had here in Texas in February 2021. Never again!

Great little inverter/generator

Becoming an inverter/generator operator for the first time. I am a retired RV owner. I bought this generator for my 19ft camper and used it during a power outage to alternately run the boiler and fridge/freezer in my house. I read the instructions and started the generator for the first time. He ran the air conditioning in my RV like a champ. To top it off... it's very quiet. The only small drawback is that you have to remove the side panel to check and fill in the oil. I am very pleased!

Pros
  • Pretty
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Working for the first time!

I have a 24 foot C class 30 amp (2020). A few weeks ago my internal CUMMIN alternator would not start. I've been trying to start for several hours. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and the average summer temperature is 250 degrees Fahrenheit. It is very dangerous to be without air conditioning, especially in a van, and even worse to be stuck on a road in the middle of the desert! We finally fired produced mobile home and came home. It was a warning that I needed a backup generator. After hours of…

  • Finally bought

  • Long wait

Light, powerful and quiet. Great value for money

After more than a year of researching generators to power my caravan when bunch docking I decided on this unit. It seems to hit the sweet spot between weight, performance and price, so it was a good choice. We used it a few times last summer while relaxing in some of New England's beautiful state parks. In short, it met all our expectations in terms of performance. It powered everything effortlessly, including the microwave, fridge, air conditioner, and TV, and was very quiet. When using items…
