Well I haven't used it that much and it stops working when it's unplugged so there is a waterproof feature, you have to plug it in by removing the die Waterproof back cover as a webcam comes in handy, and don't rely on it more than online photography. I was really hoping it would work like I said but paid the price. I exchanged this item for a new car battery and the camera was in a new box when I received it.

Let me start by saying that I did not purchase this camera. Someone gave me mine for free but not in exchange for a review. Just from one friend to another. I bought three of these to use as extra cameras on my sailboat to capture video during the race. My main camera is a GoPro Hero 3 Black. It's not GoPro quality in terms of video or audio, but for $30 they make great b-roll video sources. Just a few quirks: 1. They have a permanent date/time stamp in the lower left corner of the image that is recorded in the video stream. I haven't found a way to turn this off and ask Craig a question about it.
