This is our second Froggie humidifier. In the first, fog came out of two holes above the large eyes. It worked very well. After 5 years we replaced it with the current model with a hole between the eyes. While it works and looks pretty, it tends to collect more water inside, so when you need to fill up the tank you'll have a bit of water all over the place. This is a terrible product! I literally had my first 2 days and the water tank cracked and started leaking out of the base. It literally invaded my son's sock box and has been everywhere. The replacement I received today I checked for cracks etc before filling and all was fine. I filled it up and it works maybe 3 hours and it's already cracked at the front of the water tank and is leaking out of the base. We have two other faucet humidifiers with cool mist. One is a cow and the other is a standard teardrop shape. This frog is the worst of the three. There is a pole that goes across the top of the tank and aligns directly with the hole where the mist comes out. So I can't see the fog coming out very well and I can never tell if the level is right. Pros: This humidifier is very cute, runs fairly quiet and is the easiest humidifier I have ever owned. Cons: I couldn't run it out of the box. I would turn it on and nothing would happen. This was my 5th 3 bedroom humidifier purchase, my 2nd crane purchase. Sure, it's cute and can hold a lot of water. I also noticed that Cranes don't get as rough and moldy as other non-character humidifiers. The first day I used it in the children's room, I noticed a small noise compared to normal engine noise.
