FOR KIDS!: Clay and Dough

Please Note: Natural Clay for Kids, a less sticky alternative to traditional pottery. Yeah, those are childish things - that's Paper Clay, it says NATURAL CLAY, so it's not Paper Clay? It is less sticky and tears after drying. Alternative? I would say NO! I wish I could say something nice!

Best not to air dry at Clays & Doughs

I bought this "air dry" clay for a project at my scout camp. They made small projects, but the clay didn't dry out. We waited three weeks and they still weren't dry. All were destroyed because they did not dry. When I contacted the company, they told me I couldn't get a refund because I didn't report the issue within 10 calendar days. 10 days seems ridiculous to me. We didn't buy it the day before we needed it, and when we did the art projects we already had 10 days. We then waited longer toโ€ฆ

Shrink and crack but still useful.

I have a love-hate relationship with this sound. Pros: I like how it shapes around things. I also love how you can wet it and cut it into pieces and those pieces will stick and dry together like they're one solid piece. It dries overnight. much faster than some other brands. You get a lot for the price. Cons: Hard even with heavy kneading. It will shrink causing it to tear if not used as a thick, solid piece. (I used wood putty to fill in the cracks before painting the stuff I made and itโ€ฆ

quality material!

I bought this tone in March 2015. It's now October 2017 and this clay still has the moisture to match. I'm sure if I use it up more it might dry faster but still. These are quality items. A few notes: 1. It transfers a lot of orange to your hands and work surface, so be careful not to touch anything you don't want to; although the paint is easy to wash off hands.2. It air-dries fine, but will definitely need a few days for larger/thicker objects.3. If you're making two separate pieces (like anโ€ฆ

Good Price

This is my second glass with this tone and probably not the last. It says it's for kids but I haven't been one for a long time so maybe I should return it. HA! No way. I paint and am always looking for the perfect mixing palette, plates, mugs etc to paint with watercolors and create my own colours. Ceramic seemed like a good option but it wasn't feasible so it had to be clay and I'm a cheap blank so I bought that clay. first time. I bought the second one because it works so well for me. Itโ€ฆ
