Description of Creative Grids Rectangle Quilting Template Sewing for Quilting

Features easy-to-read black and white markings printed in 1 inch grids marked in 1/8 inch and 1/4 inch increments. Use the black numbers (printed on white dots) and the 1/4 inch grip sides to cut whole inches. The 1/4 inch dashed lines printed on two adjoining sides aid in trimming seam allowances. Use the patented Turn-A-Round feature to add the 1/2 inch seam allowance. Use the white 45 degree angle to trim half-square triangles in whole inch increments. Use the black 45 degree angle to trim half-square triangles in half inch increments. Exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts. Scan the QR Code printed on the ruler to view a tutorial of these features.

Not happy with this product

I've never had a rules hack. I can have 30 rulers, this is the first hack. Creative Grids has an excellent reputation. I bought 2 and am very disappointed.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • So so

The only problem. while quilting

Now I want all my quilting rulers to be Creative Grid rulers. This line was suggested by Annie to create her models. I do not regret buying this instrument. Now I want more, sigh.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Long wait

Very handy size

I love this handy size. I love the Creative Grid lines. I hated cutting the quilt part until I had creative grid rulers and now I don't mind at all. They stay in place thanks to the handles on the back, which really work. I make far fewer mistakes when cutting, and 99% of the time it's me slipping, not the ruler. I won't concentrate and keep my knife next to the ruler. So my fault. I also like the lines on them. you are skinny

Pros
  • crafts and sewing
Cons
  • narrow

My favorite ruler! for quilting

This ruler is the perfect size for many quilt cutting jobs. It does not slip, the lines are clear, there are markings at an angle of 45 and 60 degrees. If you could only buy one set of Creative Grid Rulers, this would be the one for you! It feels good in the hand and you can easily fold the fabric across the width into four layers and cut the strips neatly. Although Creative Grid's rulers can be more expensive than others, I found the ruler's construction to be nearly indestructible after use…

Pros
  • Rulers and ruler stands
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Another great set of Creative Grids!

I'm a big fan of Creative Grids. When I've had rulers from other brands, I've mostly replaced them with Creative Grids over the years. When I started I bought everything I saw in my LQS but now I only look for this brand. One reason is the special quarter-inch line on the edges. I love the grips they use to hold the rulers in place when I'm measuring, drawing lines, or cutting with very little pressure on my part. This time I replaced my 6" x 12" main bar with a CG 4 1/2 x 12 1/2" bar and moved

Pros
  • Quilting
Cons
  • Available in black only
