I have bought two of these lamps and I am very happy with them. I used two small Mason jelly cans as the base to attach the lamp to. Bulb 1 watt, orange flickering "Halloween", standard size bulb. I used oriental (paper) accordion lampshades and placed them over the lamp and bulb. You are quite attractive.

I received 4 types of kits this week. Two work - only one of the two from each of the two orders. The other two kits are missing a few parts, so there were more missing parts when replacing missing parts. Of the 4 that arrived at my home, two sets are incomplete and therefore unusable. 50% is not a good measure of order accuracy. I will not try again with this company.

I got this to make a stone can lamp. It works for what I need. The only problem, and it's not a big one, is that the part of the switch with the cable attached is not stable. When the cable is moved, the derailleur part moves with it, rather than staying steady with the bolt on the part. It's a little annoying to keep adjusting the hue, but not enough to send it back. I'll check this out as it's not used regularly.
