I needed to replace the wiring and socket in an old ceramic Christmas tree. This kit with built in switch was just what I needed. It was easy to assemble and the instructions were clear. Now the tree shines brightly again.

This works great in my mum's little ceramic Christmas tree but I had a really hard time putting it together. It took us two of us to figure it out, but maybe it's an "assembler" problem. Lol But once we put it together it does its job well.

I took my grandmother's and great grandmother's ceramic trees and made them new with this set. Super easy and fast! When Inwas finished I felt like a professional electrician. I used trees during the Christmas season. Everything worked perfectly, the lamps did not get warm.

Not as shown. I specifically ordered this kit for a 25 watt bulb on display. I didn't want a 7 watt night light as I have one and it's not bright enough. You received the item and it is a night lamp? upset. Come back and try to find the one that should be

Bought to replace a socket that failed on Mom's 60 year old hand painted and glazed Christmas tree. Easy to install and works great! I have a second tree of the same species. As soon as I buy a swap base for it I will be getting another set of lights! Highly recommended!

I watched a youtube video tutorial showing how to do this and it was very helpful, the light works and hopefully my house doesn't burn down haha.

Perfect for replacing an old lamp in a Halloween ceramic figurine. Everything arrived quickly and was easy to put together. The kit allows you to run wires through holes that are too small to use through pre-made lights with metal clips. You need to thread the wire through the nut, threaded center tube, lamp base and screw the ends of the wire to the lamp base and attach the base to the threaded tube - done! I chose a 25W bulb and it's perfect.

I only bought this for the outlet but everything that comes with it seems to be advertised correctly. A lightbulb that's warm to the touch shouldn't be a problem though. It's not overly bright - don't expect it to light up a room bright enough for reading, but it's slightly brighter than a night light. (The bulb pictured is a different one, an LED bulb, and is slightly dimmer than the bulb that came with the kit.) The switch seems adequate. The plug and cable fit into the socket.
