Very useful repair kit.

I used a similar lamp repair kit years ago. This and your instructions made the installation easy. The only problem I had was that the wires needed further stripping and I didn't have a wire stripper. I was successful. The restored lamp stood in my wife's house when she was growing up. She was very happy with the results and quite impressed with my "expertise".

The switch bodies are slightly larger for vintage lampholders than current ones.

For those looking for an antique look, one piece switch body and cap this would be perfect for you. I would recommend it if those are your requirements. However, I was hoping to use the included cap that fits over the switch body so I can connect my original body to an antique lamp. The diameter of the included cap was slightly smaller than the diameter of the original switch body. I can still use the screw that came with the kit.
