Creative Hobbies Bottle Lamp Kit allows you to easily convert your treasured wine, liquor or decorative bottle into unique, convenient electric accent lamp or repair and restore an old lamp. Unique side hole in the lamp socket allows you to wire the socket without having to run the lamp cord through the inside of your bottle - no drilling required. Kit includes 3 different size rubber adapters for various bottle openings (1/2", 3/4" and 15/16" diameter size) and instructions for use. Threaded Nipple size is 1/8 IP and 1-1/2" long. Lamp shade is not included and we suggest clip on style lamp shades for this style lamp. UL listed lamp parts, 8 Foot Silver SPT-1 Lamp Cord, silver color push thru lamp socket and all hardware needed.

They are amazing

Made my first lamp out of a bottle, have since bought 5 more kits to make more. The instructions are very clear and easy to assemble.

Pros
  • The unique side hole in the lamp socket allows you to connect the socket without having to run the lamp cable through the inside of the bottle - no drilling required.

Great product and well made

Great for the jar lights we collected. Liked them, especially because of the access hole on the bottom of the switch for our application.

Not quite like in the photo. Also missing were screw

I ordered 2 pieces. I just joined My Kanji Project and was disappointed that I had to buy a part at a hardware store. This is a type of lamp that has a stem that goes around the bulb where you need a nut to tighten the lampshade onto the top screw. Post. You don't need to use this part to craft a lamp. But there it was included, but without the nut. I'm sorry I didn't choose another product.
