Phew, the smell (of silver water and birch)!

I've been using the Cremo shaving cream for about a year now. I really like them, but I just tried silver water and birch scent. I propose a new title: Your Grandmother's Potpourri. The smell is much stronger than other Cremo shaving creams. It is clearly not masculine and lingers long after shaving. I wish I could point out a specific scent here because Cremo shaving creams are really good and I intend to keep using them. But there is silver water and birch. . . not good. I used it twice and…

One of the best and most practical shaving creams

In the last 10 years I have used the following shaving creams: Alba shaving cream: I really liked the Alba shaving cream, especially the version with aloe mint was very good. I also tried the Burts and Bees shaving cream around the same time, which was good too, a little creamier. Then in 2017 I switched to Van Der Hagen Shaving Oil, which was also very good (I think Burts and Bees Shaving Cream and Van Der Hagen Shaving Oil are very similar). i really like it It's the same idea as the shaving…

Great product of its kind

Cremo is a great shaving cream of its kind. Shaving cream without a brush in a tube. This is not a shaving cream or shaving soap that can be lathered. If you use it according to the instructions, it works very well. I've used it with a shaving brush although you shouldn't - the instructions say just rub it thoroughly onto your face after washing your face and leaving it wet. In any case, trying to whip the cream with a brush and water will make it thinner and wetter. It's not necessarily bad…

The best shaving cream, lotion and gel Slick and Cool

I've been using a wet shave (cup/brush) for a few years and have heard of Cremo but never tried it. I was recently looking for a "menthol" product to fuel my love for Proraso/CO Bigelow and came across this product. Wasn't disappointed. I'll say right away that although it's designed for hand lathering, it works great with a wet brush. Simply moisten the brush with water, shake gently, add a spoonful of cream and foam. It produces a slightly thinner foam than some other brands but still works…

A lot of noise about nothing!

I've tried 4 shaving products lately - Gillette Cooling Foam Gel, Nivea Sensitive Cooling Foam, Dr.Carver's Shaving Oil and this one! They've all been tried at least once with a brand new blade! Of those 4, the Cremo was the most disappointing but performed slightly better than the Gillette. This caused me about the same irritation on my face as Nivea gel but without the cooling menthol. Gillette was the only product I would rate below Cremo, but the fact that Cremo didn't even beat Nivea tells
