Creuset Signature Rectangular Roaster 5 25 Quart Review

I received this cookware as a gift and was very disappointed to learn that it was gray (oyster) and not orange (flaming) as I ordered. It's too late to return it now and luckily the recipient is happy with the colour. But come on.

I bought this cast iron enamelled grill pan - I use it every few days. Ideal for frying fish, scallops, meat and vegetables. Cleans like a dream and you can leave it to your daughter or son. If handled properly, it will last a lifetime. Fantastic and worth the money.

As with ALL Le Creuset pots and pans. I was very happy with this roaster. It was exactly what I was looking for. It's easy to clean, retains heat long after you've taken it out of the oven, and is of excellent quality. I liked it so much that I also bought a smaller roaster for smaller things. Roasters are exactly the same as Dutch Oven!

I had my doubts that the roaster would do it whole and that there would be no problems with fries and cuts! but my fears were unfounded as the roaster arrived well packaged and in perfect condition. If you enjoy cooking, a roasting pan would be a good addition to my set due to its larger size and shallower depth. They made a lid for it as the stone model is too fragile.

Beautiful piece from Le Creuset in my new Oyster colour. I have a lot of Le Creuset in different colors and this is new to me. The color is beautiful. The size of the pan is great. I'm glad I didn't buy a large one as it's enough for one or two of us. Beautiful and strong, made in France. Perfect for roasting roast beef, chicken or pasta dishes. I have ordered a grid in it but it is not available yet.

I always get these Le Creuset pots and pans mixed up when I write reviews. They are all so good and comfortable for me. So this is a cast iron rectangular shape for roasting and baking. It's heavy, unlike the ones I have that aren't heavy because they're not cast iron. This one is more versatile as it is cast iron. I don't have to worry about searing and even cooking on the stove like I would when making sauce from leftovers (font) in a pan. I love it? Yes. What I like: I have more time to cook

Le Creuset expensive. overpriced? Possibly, but it has a finish that cleans better than my other ceramic coated cast iron. The hours I don't spend soaking and cleaning are worth something, as is the lifespan I expect from this broiler. (9 liters which I bought directly from their shop), a large roaster (5 liters which I bought here) and a roaster (this one).
