Easiest Vinyl Weeding

Weeding is almost effortless, it saves me so much nerve and time, not to mention the vinyl I no longer waste. If there's an option with Cricut vinyl, I always go for it. I use this vinyl to display my address in my mailbox and it looks just as good now as it did when I first put it up two months ago. I live in humid South Carolina so I'm impressed.

No Cricut trademark!

Very embarrassing as it claims to be a Cricut brand. Even the shipping box says Cricut, but when I opened it, I recognized the packaging as Oracal. I unfolded it to see the paper backing and it confirmed that it was indeed Oracal and NOT Cricut. I've never used 631 vinyl before so I'll test it out before using it on my project. I prefer Cricut vinyl over Oracal but the ones I've used aren't exactly terrible and that's the only reason I'm not returning them so we'll see.

  • Impressive
Cons
  • Boring packaging

NOT suitable for Yupo paper!

I use alcohol ink and love Cricut to create cut outs to color my Yupo pieces. I used to use Cricut Stencil blue translucent paper, but it was commercially available and I decided to give it a try. It is very difficult to remove from Yupo paper and will tear off the top layer in some places. It's certainly not the vinyl's fault - it's a decent quality which is why I'm giving it 4 stars - but "removable" doesn't work well on some surfaces. I'm going back to my old stenciled backup vinyl.

  • Free for educational purposes
