When the plastic clasp is fully unscrewed, the strap is exactly 21 inches long. however, with them it was almost impossible to climb over the head. The resulting 3-inch rise made them comfortable to wear overhead and allowed the goggles to fall low enough on my chest when not in use that the ends of the temples no longer rubbed my neck. So their modification made them perfectly acceptable for use with my Julbo Vermont goggles and reasonable value for money.

The problem is not the quality of this product, but the convenience. I didn't like how this system attaches to your glasses, if you attach it to the back of the glasses you have to deal with it rubbing against your ears, if you attach it to the front of the glasses it not only shortens the weak length, but needs constant adjustment when putting on glasses.
