I found what I was looking for! Adjustable holder that fits the 1mm wide metal bar of my glasses. The connector fits perfectly on the shaft and does not slip. The connection loop is a tiny elastic band with a hard plastic slider that allows it to fit almost any shaft width. It's amazing how well the rubber sticks to the shaft. In addition, the plastic adjuster on the back of the strap moves very smoothly. This means I don't have to struggle with my arthritic fingers to move it up and down. Now, during my arctic icebreaker voyage, I can tighten the strap when I'm in the Zodiac boat heading for shore, and when I'm on land I can lengthen the strap so I can lower my goggles to close my camera see LCD screen. Ideal!
