Crocheted Pursenalities: 20 Exceptional Felted Bags Review

I bought this book for my sister who was jealous of my knitting skills and felted bags. This is the only book I have ever seen that shows how to crochet purses that then take a beautiful shape. Great guide and some really cute designs.

I love felting and wanted unusual patterns for purses. This book is incredible! I've already made 3 of these :) I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to felt. The directions are clear and understandable. She gives good tips on the felting process and even has a list in the book where you can buy the exact yarns she used for each project should you wish to use them. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Ready-made purses are beautiful and very trendy. The photos are great. The downside of this book is that all of the patterns are VERY yarn specific and usually require at least 3 different types of yarn. (with varying percentages of wool) Also, a lot of trimming is required to achieve the finished look, ie. Decorative stitching, stitching, fittings and tools for using fittings. Even the pattern called EASY required 2 different yarn types with very specific wool blends to match the felting yarn.
