Plays extremely well. Terribly bad recordings.

Plays cassettes very well. big. But in general, it can't log in well. I can't add a separate microphone. The built-in microphone is just terrible. even the scream in it gets a useless track.

Pros
  • Retro cassette player with retractable AM/FM radio antenna and working VU
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Very retro: Portable Audio Video

I like the sound quality for the price. BUT. The recording quality is terrible. I bumped into the mic at 14 inches and can barely hear anything recorded. The playback quality is very bad. If I figure out how to do better, I'll change my mind. In general I leave it because I like it as a radio and cassette player.

Pros
  • Components included: Ct200B Cassette Player, Power Cord, User Manual, Warranty Card
Cons
  • Poor

Band mechanism is noisy

Good idea but poor quality. Really wanted to like it, but the radio hums softly; Most of the time when you play music you won't hear it, when you talk on the radio you will hear it. The decisive factor, however, is the noise emitted by the mechanics of the tape recorder. It's loud enough to be heard through whatever you're listening to (at least at moderate audio levels). So it had to be returned.

Pros
  • Built-in Bluetooth receiver allows digital music to be streamed through CT200
Cons

Looks pale and remains a crappy speaker.

I bought this speaker because it's the coolest speaker but it was very cheap. It felt like a slap. The sound is terrible too. The audio jack is useless due to the amount of constant hissing that drowns out the bass in songs. Also the VU is useless, I don't know why they put it on such a tiny speaker in the first place, you basically have to blow up the speaker to make it shake a bit. Mine also came new and sealed but all scratched. I really wanted to like it, but I couldn't get over how awful…

Pros
  • Runs on AC or batteries plus headphone jack for private listening
Cons
  • Modern

Perfect size! for personal radios

The built-in microphone lets you record your voice. I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't connect a microphone, but I'll get over it. (That's why I made a 4 star rating and not 5). This product allows you to receive and record Bluetooth. It will appear on your devices and you can play music from there to project through the speaker. This also allows recording to tape; Music recorded from your phone or computer via Bluetooth (that's not a word, but less confusing) can be written to tape. from

Pros
  • Add punchy bass or adjust the treble with the knobs on top
Cons
  • Compatibility
