Must have for old Chevrolets.

Perfect fit for a very original '50 Chevy with many original coupler head fasteners/bolts/screws. No more searching for the perfect width slotted screwdriver for each coupling head size.

Pros
  • Hands Free Operation
Cons
  • Zero

Hard to find! for tool kits

I have a 1971 caravan and EVERYTHING is bolted to this bolt. Was happy to find the right fit which wasn't available in big stores. In fact, I cut the bit out of the socket and put it in a cordless drill. Works perfectly. Rescuer!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • So far so good

Broke on first use - tools and equipment

Bits were great until the right size broke on the first screw. I'm not a big guy and I didn't raise the cheat bar, I even doused the bolts with penetrating oil a few days apart before getting the coupler heads; but still the first bolt and corner that came up broke the racquet

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Frequency

Ideal for old Chevrolet clutch cover bolts.

Difficult to find screwdrivers for coupling heads. Good quality. Used for my 1956 Chevy's gas tank shipping unit. Screws with copper washers must be used, otherwise gas will seep through the threads. Flat-head screwdriver cannot be tightened firmly. Use the right tool for the right screws.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

When working on 1950's cars

Ask anyone who's been around if I have to work with a screw or pan head screw, I hate them. It's the 21st century, why are they still around? My new favorite screw is the coupling head. These heads were perfect for removing clutch head bolts from a 1951 Chevy 3100. They engaged securely and would not slide out. But be careful when engaging, if you don't get it right you'll quickly wear out the screw head. When I did this it didn't damage the tool, just the bolt and the rest of the tag. When Iโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Handy thing
Cons
  • I have no dislike, everything's fine
