These bulbs don't last at all on me

I live in New York. The food is relatively clean. These lamps wear out very quickly. I'm on my 3rd of these in the last 3 months. Before it seemed that the bulbs I bought when I bought a lamp lasted for years. Sorry, but IMHO this is garbage.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Expensive

Broken and short lived but cheap

One out of 5 fell out of the box. Another failed after a relatively short time. They give off just the right amount of light, and the light that's there feels good. The price is much cheaper than buying from retail but I was very disappointed with the first 2.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Vulgarity

They work best in incandescent bulbs

I gave my lamp to my then boyfriend thinking I could buy a new lamp and get rid of that heat producing halogen lamp. 20 years later we are married and now this lamp is on his desk. I've changed a few lightbulbs since then and since he's still getting good working lightbulbs I'll probably see that lightbulb for the next 20 years. He is always cold, so the warmth he radiates is beneficial.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Update available

DO NOT BUY!: Bulbs

Complete junk! I should have known the price was too good to be true. A similar bulb purchased from Home Depot or Lowes would last at least a couple of years. These pieces of scrap disintegrate after just a few months or weeks in the lamp. Yes, they fall together! The ceramic tips fell apart in the holder and I had to vacuum them up. UPDATE: The last bulb change in this pack only took a few hours!

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Boring packaging

Long lasting bulbs if you are careful when installing them.

Good bulbs. Don't touch the glass part when installing as the oil from your fingers will cause the bulb to burn out almost instantly which I learned the hard way twice. Also no 3 way bulbs but works great in an old bulb left by my landlord. These types of bulbs seem to last a very long time as we used the last bulb almost daily for 2 years, but I don't know how long it was in use before we moved.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Requires socket

Buyers beware - they break often - need to be replaced almost every 5-7 days

Although they look like the more expensive bulbs I've bought in the past they are not of the same quality. The light went out two days after the replacement. When I checked I saw that one of the ceramic ends had just broken. Four days later the same - both ends were broken. The pattern was repeated four times until I decided to go back to buying more expensive bulbs. Perhaps only this box was defective, but buyers beware.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • No

Collect garbage! for lightbulbs

I'm a big fan of generic drugs, especially when you can get twice the product for almost half the price, but it's downright dangerous. I immediately burned out one bulb and another exploded in the headlight (a very expensive headlight) and spilled onto the inside of the glass. Luckily, they're made from such poor materials that there doesn't seem to be any real damage. Those are really bad lights. Swallow the jagged pill and buy a Philips, they're probably made in China too, but better quality.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Some problems

I used these to replace the exact bulb I've used in my flashlight for years. But I can't turn it on for more than 5 minutes (10 max) without turning off the light. I can then turn it off and wait a few more hours and it will come back on, but it's a bit annoying that you can only use the light for 5-10 minutes at a time. and don't even think about turning it on all the way. or you may only have a full minute or 2. I will not buy them again.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure

You get what you pay for. Very disappointing

I have a lamp that uses this lamp size. For almost 30 years now. I have only changed the bulb 3 times so when I bought 5 packs in May 2019 I figured they would last a very long time. It is March 2020 and we have just installed the 4th lamp from the order. The lamp requires loosening small screws and very careful handling of the bulbs without leaving fingerprints. We wear gloves when handling it. Changing them is very tedious and inconvenient, so I'm disappointed that they didn't last longer. Be

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

DO NOT BUY! - Bulbs

I bought this pack of 5 bulbs in November 2017. Last night (02/19/18) I received one of the bulbs (first time since purchase) to replace a burned out bulb. Tonight (02/20/18, 24 hours later) the lightbulb burned out. I noticed last night that the light emitted by the bulb seems pretty dim for a new bulb. So tonight the 'new' bulb burned out (in less than 24 hours) and I go back to the 5 pack (now there are 4 left) and get another bulb. I replaced yesterday's with a newer one, turned on the lamp

Pros
  • Best in their niche
Cons
  • I will add later
