Excellent transmission but poor battery life

Signal is really strong on them, transmits image through 1/4 mile of woods, 1 mile of open air. It's nice to be able to test your cameras from home. I fell down like I know the wildlife better now. Batteries that they eat last two or three weeks in winter. I hope the batteries will last longer in warmer weather.

Worst cameras I have ever owned

$813 spent on 4 cameras including protection plan. Deployed Cameras (I have had game cameras at my stands for many years and get 500-1800 photos every 2 weeks). The transmission range to the native camera is incredibly poor. My cameras were no more than 250 meters apart and the signal was less than 20 on 2 of them. In short, they don't have a motion sensor, just an IR sensor. If you have read the troubleshooting tips, the cameras do not work well in temperatures above 80. I hunt in Florida so…

Super Sensitive Sensor

If you want to take photos every minute, you're in luck. The sensor of these cameras, of which I have bought three, is too sensitive to micro-temperature changes and/or tiny movements. Two of my three cameras take pictures continuously and drain their batteries in days. The third camera is only slightly better, but not by much. Yes I put them in the closet to see if the sensor works. Good news, the sensor works - no photo in the dark closet. The bad news is the sensor is sooooo sensitive and…

DO NOT BUY - really bad product and service

I bought 2 Cuddleback IR 5.1-1316 deer cameras. Cabellas told me I was buying a quality product. After spending ONE month outdoors I checked the drive and the batteries got wet and rusted inside. After a lot of effort they finally sent me a new battery case which leaked something blue onto the batteries. They must be waterproof on the outside! Worst technique I've ever had. Guess where it was made. China is not surprising. I had a second one and also sent it back to the company but never heard…

f2-p model, Terrible Camera

I have used the f2-p model along with cheaper cameras from other brands and this camera is by far the worst. The shots were grainy, night shots, if I got them at all, were mostly completely dark. The batteries ran out in just a few weeks and fewer shots were taken than other cameras that last much longer. In order to check the map, the entire camera had to be removed from the tree, as the power switch was on the control panel, which was located at the back of the tree. I installed it next to…
