Works great in food processors

I love this little food processor. It is small and handles small items that need to be crushed well. It also has low and high speed buttons. I have another Cuisinant machine (K cup coffee maker) that has worked well for many years. I expect this food processor to do the same.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Does not emulsify salad dressing

This Cuisinart does not work for what I bought it for. On a full size Cuisinart you can pour oil into the top as you work, but in this case you can't, the oil stays under the blade and doesn't emulsify. I went back to using my regular Cuisinart for a very small batch of salad dressing and will likely give it goodwill since the return window is closed.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Negative impression

Don't trust refurbished Cuisinart products.

Do not trust updated items. A simple "updated" Cuisinart Mini Chop was a waste of time and energy when it came with a broken bowl. Revain's customer service was helpful, but when they referred her to Cuisinart's customer service, things "didn't get to Revain's collaborative level." The item will be returned to Revane. I don't bother with the Cuisinart bypass, they should be better integrated with the Revain system customer support. I hope someone else isn't stuck on this point.

Pros
  • Somewhat above
Cons
  • Minor issues

Nice little machine.

Please note that some products may be "refurbished" which means they are not really new. I didn't see that on the website I ordered from. (Which probably explains the good price.) When I opened the box, there was an insert stating it was refurbished with a 90-day warranty. Although it looked like new. That said, this little machine works great. I don't have much cooking work so the size is great and works as well as you want it to. You must be sure you have assembled it correctly, otherwise it…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors have arrived

Cute and functional

This is a really cute little food processor. I bought this in addition to my large 14 cup Cuisinart processor and also because it was about $13 for a factory remanufactured model. I wanted to be able to cut smaller amounts of food like onions etc without having to use the large processor and then clean it up. It was a worthwhile purchase - not as versatile (certainly) as the big one, but for the most part it gets the job done. The only complaint I have is that sometimes you're left with big…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Slim
