Make damn ice cream, no shavings!

Does NOT make ice chips. It's more like crushed ice with big chunks to chew on. Not the snow cone texture I remember from my childhood. I will come back and try another brand. Too bad because everything else about this car is pretty cool :-/

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Surprisingly simple, easy to use

I was skeptical about buying a Cuisinart snow cone maker rather than renting it for a large gathering, even though it cost less money than renting. It turned out that this little machine did everything that children and adults asked of it. I love the consistency of the ice cream it creates. I'm impressed with the ease of use and cleaning means drying only. It looks great and has the ability to do enough for what we need.

Worth no more than twenty dollars

Pretty in theory, it's more like a horn maker, but it works well. The handle is plastic, so be careful not to squeeze it too hard. The ice must be small and not placed in pieces, otherwise it will not break the ice. VERY slow ice crusher, very cheap. The best part is the shovel. The scoop makes cute little round sno-cone tops. I would give 5 stars if it was bigger but for the price I just can't do it. This thing is tiny and SLOW.

family dependent!

This car is fantastic. I like the security features in it. The machine will not work if the lid is opened or the ice tray is removed. I got tired of paying over $3 for a small snow cone at a local booth, so I invested in Crisinart. It is excellent! Kids of all ages loved their 8 oz. snowballs, and we could control the amount of syrup they got. We took him to the beach and to our birthday party and it was a huge hit. I love crushed ice all day. It's pretty addicting. I like to use real lemon and

This is a good snow cone for ice shaving, very good, like .

I bought this red Cuisinart SCM-10 snow machine to have when the grandkids come to Grammy and Papau. This is a good snow cone maker that cuts ice quite well, like carnival snow cones. I let my ice cube sit for a bit to melt it so that when I use a snow cone shovel and do it around the top it stays shaped like a cone like in the photos. My grandchildren love it. It's easy to use 15-20 young at a time if you put a lot in it and it doesn't start to shave. Crushed ice bucket holds 6 to 8 ice cream…

Cuisinart Snow Cone Maker #1

We love the Cuisinart Snow Cone Maker! I've been looking for a good ice crusher/shaver for a long time and came across the Cuisinart at Revain. I have an ice crusher in my fridge and enjoy eating ice cream, but wanted something that would crush the ice much finer. It far exceeds my expectations and turns the ice into very fluffy snow. It's easy to use and clean, and doesn't make a mess. I use it everyday to make snow cones for my grandkids and diet sodas for myself. I am 1000% satisfied with my
