Exact match. It worked right away. Perfect for when your dog is reaching out for another lol. We originally received a backlit remote that we bought from the store. So it's just a remote control that we really need.

Purchased current USA Aquarium Lights the second was without the remote. It doesn't work without a remote control. So I found this replacement remote at Revain and ordered it. Out of the box it worked great. So happy I found it!

When the original Light Controller died I was very upset. I've already changed batteries to no avail. Then for only $10 and 2 days later I had my light back under control ;-) Adding to my original review. The controller died exactly 1 month later. Buyer Warning!

Ordered a replacement because my wife dropped it on a bucket of water when changing the water. Delivered quickly, the tank caught fire. The remote control is exactly the same as the one that came with my lamp. Happy no problem. I have photographed the new and the old remote control. On the left is a new one with foil, the second is a used one.

Works great as a replacement. No questions. works perfectly. I threw another one in the aquarium so it was a good decision. Update: Mine originally fell into the aquarium. I ordered this and it worked great. I then let the old one dry and a week later it was working again. I've found that when it stops working, which both eventually do, I removed the battery and cleaned the area with fine sandpaper and it worked again.

Works a bit - I can turn the light on and off on this stupid lamp. I will never buy American aquarium lights again, especially Current which has no customer service at all. It costs a fortune and you don't have to think about setting a timer or waterproofing the remote with this light. The replacement remote, which I spent another $24 for, has nothing to do with a power button. After almost a year of use, I still think this lamp is expensive junk.

Ordered a replacement on the 7th afternoon and received it first thing this morning (10th), unpacked and it worked straight away, no problems or fuss. I'm sure the fish are much happier now that I can get their lights working properly. As an aside, there was nothing wrong with the original. I only have 3 kids who love playing with aquarium lights (especially the storm feature) and managed to lose the retractable part that holds the battery. There is no battery or remote control, just a…
