This is just what I needed to hang a pair of scissors on an old curtain rod that wasn't working properly. I can highly recommend. The hangers are stainless steel and the clips have strong tension that easily holds heavier fasteners. We used a hanging hook to attach the lanterns to the gutters as they have a leaf guard and there is no room for a bracket. It worked great. The roof top has a metal edge.
