Chrome plating of decent quality but not good enough to need replacing after a few years. Also, the base of the circle is uneven at the bottom, so it wobbles a bit from side to side. If I kept the box I would try to send it back based on the return cost but I will only use it until it gets rusty and order something else. Super Safety Razors is a first class supplier that I have worked with as I have purchased from them before but this item is not worth what I paid for it.

Works well, razor holds well but could be stronger. When putting on and taking off a razor, the base sometimes wobbles a bit. If it had a stronger base I would give it 5 stars.

A year later it is rusty and shows signs of rust. I have this on a raised glass shelf and it seems like the moisture in my bathroom air has caused it to rust. There is a ring of rust where it sat and now it's time to replace it. Too bad. Fortunately, there are many alternatives to choose from. Fingers crossed I'll find a real stainless one.
