Works well with my iPhone 6. I bought the mount to use in my parents old car that doesn't have sat nav. You can easily stow the holder away when you need to remove it from your windshield.

DO NOT BUY THIS - I had one that lasted a couple of years with no problems, it ended up breaking and I ordered a replacement. The replacement broke down within a few days of putting my phone in the base and is beyond repair. I waited a few months and ended up ordering another one and a week later it broke in the same place.
