We tried this on our 3 year old as there was hair all over the bathroom. It works quite well, is too cumbersome to cut, and probably captures 90% of the hair. The difficulty is not to shed everything when you remove the thing, you have to try a little to keep all the hair inside.

This is a pretty good product which would make cleaning a lot easier. I bought this for my 2 year old but he didn't want to wear it at all. Second, it actually looked like the picture and would probably make cleaning easier by catching most of the hair. I put 4 starts because the fabric was a bit thinner than I expected.

1. Designed to be used when cutting someone else's hair, not for cutting hair yourself.2. Don't wash (at least not every time lol), the metal wire will rust.3. To clean it you have to take it outside and shake it off. (You can shed large strands of hair by hand, but this is the only way to get rid of any residue) 4. I was skeptical when my husband bought this. BUT when I cut my son's hair, 80-90 percent of the hair falls out right there! Note that the boy on the cover is small and my son is seven years old. After trimming, I throw most of it in the trash, the rest that doesn't come off is thrown on the street.

This product works well for catching baby hair. It reduces the child's anxiety due to itching and is comfortable enough to use for a long time. However, it makes it difficult to cut your hair in the bath.

Our sons (2 and 4) enjoyed using it and wearing it when we went to the hair salon. The only problem we had was that the neck wasn't tight enough. We may need to tie something else around our sons necks because although it caught most of the hair, some of the small hairs slipped down causing itching.
