Very contradictory. The first day worked great. I emptied my water bottle in about 8 hours. After this. Some nights he stopped drinking water after 15 minutes.

I bought 2 of these. A semi-moisturizing. The second works only 10 minutes and stops emitting steam. When I empty it, it runs another 10-15 before it stops.

I can't believe the mic should work when it's producing - it just needs a little wipe down with a clean paper towel once a week. I use filtered tap water - perfect mist next to my bed and silence. I use regular thick plastic water bottle (Dasani) and it lasts 8 hours!

I noticed several colleagues with this tabletop humidifier so I decided to order it for my husband. FICTION! Easy to assemble (minutes) and starts working immediately. I've used a 32 ounce over-the-counter flavored water bottle and it lasts a long time. Great deal for the price.

It probably doesn't improve the humidity in my office but it works as advertised and is quite fun to play with. :) I'm currently working with a recycled coke bottle that pumps water into the air. We're hoping this at least reduces static electricity in the really dry winter air and maybe increases the humidity a bit.

That little piece of junk sounded great. The idea of using an ordinary water bottle as a reservoir for a tiny humidifier for a long time is simply brilliant. Unfortunately, it only works for 5 or 10 minutes as the performance gradually drops to zero. The problem I found was that the bubbles start to stick to the edge of the transducer and eventually build up to the point where they absorb the ultrasonic waves. No ultrasonic waves = no fog. If I had written this review on the day it was first used, the humidifier would have gotten an A. I was looking for a humidifier to take with me to work and when I travel, and it fit the bill. I set it up the first day and let it work all day with no problems. Both my colleague and I loved it and she talked about getting it for herself.
