I love socks! They fit great and are high quality. During the cold Iowa winters, these socks are a must. These high socks are the best at keeping feet warm and their length also keeps feet warm. Love the fit and look and even after washing the color stays vibrant and the socks last a long time and don't look old and dirty. Great for both men and women!

I wear them as soon as it gets chilly in autumn. They're really knee high and then some; They actually come up to my knee, so I bend them a few inches. They are warm and stretchy. Sturdy enough to qualify as a compression sock. Ideal for hiking and cycling in cold weather. Also great for keeping my shins and feet warm on cold nights. Highly recommended.

Order less than you expect! I'm 6ft 3" and wear men's work boots 12 wide, skateboard boots 12.5-13 or ski boots 31.5: right in the middle of what is advertised here xl. The curves of these socks go through the Achilles tendon before they even sit properly. The cuffs sit about an inch and a half above the knee, but then tend to gather behind the knee and pinch the skin even with minimal activity. Suffered from wearing a pair of these pairs exactly once, and hardly ever again.

These socks were a perfect match for my 5 day hike the Appalachian Trail in October 2021. They are thick but breathe very well and my feet didn't sweat at all. These socks are quite thick and have enough stretch to fit over my large calves while also fully fitting the calves to the bottom of the knee. The only negative thing about these socks is that all of the yarn ends stay in the socks. That wouldn't be a problem, except that a lot of the ends of the yarn weren't actual ends, but sock grip loops. It took a lot of extra work to cut off the worst threads. Very soft and warm. A little more than I expected, both on the legs and calves. If I pull my socks on tight, the heal of the socks will be slightly wider than my heals, and the top of the socks will be above the knees.
