It provides shade, so I bought this product, but it's difficult to set up with a DJI controller. It is easy to fold but bulky to put in your DJI bag. If I had an aftermarket bag that could hold all my stuff, maybe things would be different.

Had to make a mod to make it not press buttons on my device. It's also quite a hassle to get this thing onto your controller and phone, but once you tweak it a bit and enable it properly, it gets the job done and looks like it should last a long time.

Used with the Mavic Air 2 remote I found it bounced a bit when moving up and down, but that was quickly fixed with Velcro attached to the phone's body and bottom of the hood. Great for sun protection and easy to apply and remove.

Good for sunny days outdoors but I find that with the time it takes to set up the phone properly it's easier to just throw a cover in a shady spot Find. But with towers without shadows, it's worth taking the time to build. Just watch it unfold and you shouldn't have any trouble removing it.

That leaves no gap for the phone buttons. So if you put it on and try to close it in the controller it will push all the buttons on your phone. NOT very thoughtful. I've tried a few different possibilities - I might try changing this by cutting out the slots that should allow the buttons NOT to be pressed - the way the controller is designed. Otherwise this would be a 5 star rating for all quality.

Although it's a smart origami element, I can't use it. All the angles are wrong and he gets too close to the screen, blocking his line of sight. It is very difficult to fold it properly after use, but it doesn't matter now. The other thing is that it installs behind your phone so it's quite difficult to put everything together. Nice try it's a quality item but. Someone has to design and install something much simpler with the right viewing angle AFTER you put the phone on the controller.

It took me a hell of a long time to figure it out at first, but once I got over my frustration (and really looked at tiny directions) it all came together nicely . You can buy this from Revain for $20, but DJI wants $30. I used this with my iPhone on the Mavic Air 2 remote control. It reduces sun glare a bit, but only if you're holding the controller at an odd angle that makes it difficult to see the entire screen. It's also huge and quite bulky.
