I put these shoes on my son and knew they wouldn't fit. Yes they are very light but there is no support for the foot. The insole of the shoe is flat and firm. I didn't like the design of the shoes. I bought the pink size 5.5 for my 1.5 year old daughter. They fit her perfectly and she plays with the velcro but doesn't take them off. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the elastic "fake" laces unraveled.
