UPDATE 10/02/2019: downgraded to 4 STARS. The leather on these shoes remained whole, shiny and scratch free! This week the velcro on the left boot has become ineffective and won't stay on (hence a star deduction). Now I have to buy new shoes for my 3 year old daughter. To reduce the time between buying new shoes, I usually alternate her shoes between two pairs of uniform shoes.
