When i tried this product, I was highly disappointed with its performance .The gloves failed to keep my hands warm and had a poor fit. Despite being made of Gore Tex, my hands still got wet. The only positive thing about these gloves is their appearance, but that's about it. Overall, I would not recommend these gloves to anyone in need of functional winter wear..

The gloves are waterproof but their thermal insulation is very limited. (if that makes sense) Regarding so the benefit i guess it's not much - certainly not worth $55 waterproofing is required in the pacific winter as cold rain makes hands very cold but they aren't warm enough to make a difference if they would have been cold wet Hands instead of cold dry hands, but I have cold hands anyway!
