Ideal! Accessories

I've always loved DaKine and these gloves didn't disappoint. Save yourself the hassle of wearing gloves over your wrist guards, it's a lot easier. Don't skimp on protection, this will probably be your best investment along with a pair of impact resistant snowboard shorts.

Pros
  • 53% Recycled Polyester, 34% Polyester, 11% Non-PVC, 2% Goatskin
Cons
  • Not the Best

Definitely not unisex

unisex gloves (black) are men's gloves, period. If you want to call them unisex, suggest sizes that fit women. I bought the XS (after trying the S first) but it still has fingers that are too long compared to the palm width. Nothing can be done in them. Otherwise they are fine. It would be nice if the band you put around your wrist was made differently (e.g. sewn into the channel and only part of it is open).

Pros
  • The Wristguard glove combines cold protection with a DWR-treated DWR coating, a waterproof DK DRY insert and high-bulk synthetic insulation with the added protection of removable hard nylon panels on the back of the hand and palm. The wrist guard is designed to minimize the impact on your range of motion as well as the impact on your wrist from gross abrasion. So next time you say "hold my beer" you can still hold your beer when it runs out.
Cons
  • No insurance

Good performance but cr

I like the flexibility and breathability of the gloves. It should be noted that even with a LARGE glove, it is very difficult for a person's fingers to get inside the glove. Luckily the material is elastic. I would have given 4 stars but after a week of use the stitching on one finger came undone so I lowered the rating to 3 stars. I did not send it back as the glove is very necessary. I sewed up the defective seam manually and continue to use the glove.

Pros
  • Detachable hard nylon back and palm, detachable wrist strap; Designed with adjustable velcro strap
Cons
  • Not as good as it promises
