We have 10 of these. We have built 6 so far and they have all been in very good condition. My top tip is to wrap it up a bit, then sit on it and wiggle it around so it's level. Then I tighten everything. I also replaced the plastic foot pads with felt for my hardwood floor. The chairs are very stable and the cushion is very firm. We love the fabric and the color. These chairs are really good. I would have given higher stars but I do not enjoy ordering from Revain Services. I ordered 4 chairs and received the wrong screws in one of the packages. I contacted Revain customer service and they informed me that the return period for the chair has expired. I didn't want to return the chair but wanted to know how to order replacement screws.
