The life of the party

I've had the original Dance Central since it was released. It was one of my favorite games. I chose Dance Central 3 because two players can play it at the same time. This feature alone adds so much value to the game. I have yet to try everything in the game, but so far it's been a blast. I've thrown two parties in the last two weeks and everyone had a blast playing this game. We played in party mode. All the different challenges are fun, although each of us has our favorites. I also did an…

makes you sweat. really

I'm a dancer, I can follow him. my fiancé is new. So it works for any speed. makes us really sweaty and fun at the same time, especially when both compete against each other. the steps go from mundane to funny to funny to amazing and what the heck?!? rewind (scratch the back of the head). It's fun to play solo, but it's way more fun to play in multiplayer. although I haven't played it with a large group. The song ranges from the 70s to today. You can download more songs if you want, but there's

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

This game justifies the XBox Kinect sensor. I really liked Just Dance 3 (JD3) on the Wii at first, but I didn't realize how much fun a serious dance game could be until I bought Dance Central 3 (DC3). And if I'm serious, I don't mean the plot; I mean all options available in this game. The most useful option is the ability to practice small parts of the dance as many times as needed until you master the move. This option is very useful, especially when dancing to more complex versions of a…

Great party game, some bugs need fixing

Group Play: The additions that Harmonix have made to this version are really amazing for group play. Party mode creates a softer atmosphere for those who have never played games before to finally try it. Ever since this new version was released, my party game friends didn't want to play any other Kinect games. Great job Harmonix! Solo: A few songs raised the bar for choreography, notably Usher's OMG (which I haven't really mastered yet, even after trying it at least 20 times - well done!), but…

Dance Central 3 is amazing. and I don't usually give rave reviews

I've been playing Dance Central (and Just Dance) games for practice (and fun) for over a year. At first I was addicted to Dance Central 1 which was really amazing with Kinect. One of the few games that registers body movements excellently. I liked Dance Central 1, but at the time I only liked Dance Central 2 because some things weren't as good as the original: clunky menu system, music, too many silly girly dance moves, etc. I've been playing Dance Central for a week and wanted to give my…

Fantastic game, best for Xbox systems

I've been an avid fan of the series since Dance Central (1). Harmonix did a great job and came up with great choreography for all the songs on their list. I have purchased all 3 of their Dance Central games and have never been disappointed. I love that Dance Central 3 (hereafter DC3) has more options (e.g. a party where players can easily drop in and out of the game) and even a story mode. Many more songs have also been added to the list, from the 70's to the current selection of songs. Story -
