The wallet itself is solidly machined from machined aluminum. The workmanship is good, but I had to file the edges as they were all very sharp and rough. It sucks, but it was definitely something that was easy to fix. The problem is that this doesn't prevent RFID readers from collecting data from NFC cards in the wallet. Last night one of the cards I kept in this wallet showed an unknown charge. After I canceled the card, ordered another and disputed the payment, I checked the wallet on myโ€ฆ

throw the dice? for wallets

Okay first off I've probably spent a good 6 months researching these wallets. They all seem to be basically the same. Sure I could buy one for $20-40. It would probably end up in a pile of crap. I'm not sure why I chose this. But I'm not disappointed. I love that they are handmade here in California. I love the CNC leather hybrid concept. I bit the bullet and ordered this. I was really looking forward to this show. I love that it comes with a paracord strap, but I'll end up using my Spyderco. I

I think this wallet was made by GM. Seriously

Well the wallet looks cool just like a lot of other hipster EDC gizmos. It's not functional. The leather ripped off the rivets when I tried to remove the card. My $20 nomatic has held up great for 2 years on 3 continents. This thing didn't survive a visit to the cafรฉ. Come on. Purse used in a coffee shop IN ADVERTISING! What I love most about it is that it's made in America. What people without common sense (or engineering training) cannot understand is that we are producing less, but more ofโ€ฆ

Mostly positive - but don't use the "bottle opener "!

After a few weeks of experience I have updated my rating and downgraded it from 4 to 3. There are many such wallets and I have tried several. More recently I've become a complete minimalist and have only used a carbon fiber money clip. But it was impossible to put bills in without surrounding them with protective credit cards - the bills just crumpled, and it was quite difficult to take out just one card if you had more than 5 or 6. But that's enough. That's easy. Slips 1 or 2 cards in and outโ€ฆ

Now my daily driver.

Beautiful, unique, few defects. The aluminum frame and panel are strong and durable. ESSENTIAL - You don't have to worry about your cards bending or bending. The (elastic) silicone strap has the right tension and the leather part is very good - colour, thickness and finish. It is a very nice item and does its job well. I have about 8 or 9 cards in it so it's getting a little bulky, the aluminum plate now extends about 3/8 inch beyond the frame so I'll probably reduce the number of cards Iโ€ฆ

Pretty cool, pretty handy.

Cons: - The paracord is bulky and annoying so I took it off. BUT, this meant I cut my finger a few times in the beginning (nothing too deep/serious). The silicon strap(?) in the middle that holds all the panels together can stretch a bit if you put too much in your wallet for too long. That means the plates are moving too much when you finally thin out your wallet. When you hold as many cards as I do (we don't carry cash in San Francisco), it's difficult to get a card in the middle withoutโ€ฆ

all ok men for wallets, card cases and money organizers

I have several of these types of wallets in different styles from different sellers. Although this one looks very nice, it is almost redesigned in my opinion. It's bigger than the others and costs more. There are better and cheaper options that do the same thing. Additionally, this is generally not the most optimal type of wallet. There are very thin double folds with RFID protection that are more versatile and easier to tamper with. And if RFID doesn't bother you, a decent clip will doโ€ฆ
