After 6 months (maximum 30 minutes of wear once a week) the velcro on both shoes has become so worn that my 4 year old can no longer close the shoes to keep them on his feet . Shoe runs true to size. My daughter wears a 10.5 and these (11) are a bit big but that's what the toe cotten is for!
