🚿 Danze D460059BN Mono Chic Brushed Nickel Rectangular Showerhead - 5"x8" Single Function Review

This rain shower head from Danze Mono Chic was installed in March 2016. In November 2019, it burst with a loud bang while in use. My wife cleaned it all the time so the only conclusion is that it's a piece of plastic junk. For the past few decades, we've had showerheads. Don't pay Danze prices for things that cost a dime.

I've read reviews about water pressure and also took out a piece so nothing interferes with the water flow. So far, so good. I like the rectangular shape as it seems to cover more body surface than the smaller round shape. Gentle jet with more than enough pressure for a comfortable shower and quick shampoo rinse (which is always a problem when you have lots of hair like me!)

Not a good price, the block is mainly plastic. Most of the body that you would expect metal to be is actually plastic. I can't believe I paid what I did for it to be honest. It lasted 3 years but when it failed, part of the shower head literally emptied when I turned on the water. much better deals on raincoats out there, this one was replaced with a larger all metal block for under $20 which was at my door in two days. Shopping spree.

Now that I've removed the black o-ring water restrictor, it feels amazing. I installed it when it arrived hoping the pressure would be enough and we could save some water, but it's 100% worth using the extra water. Neither my wife nor I want to get out of the shower with this shower head. We bought this along with a new S handle and wall flange, looks great!
