What is that smell?: Sheets and pillowcases

I was very disgusted by the strong chemical, oily smell. What did it trigger? I washed them with detergent and distilled white vinegar but it stayed. The texture is good, nice thick linen. Generous bottom sheet, but the top sheet doesn't really hang down the sides of my king bed. I will wash them again to see if the smell goes away. If not, I'll have to send them back because nobody should breathe in that smell all night.

Great price, great linens. Love!

Update: After a couple of washes now a bit disappointed that one of the pillowcases has come undone at the seam in a small area. I can fix it myself and it's not torn, so it's not a big deal. Just a little annoying. Everything else is still fine in these sheets. Would definitely buy again despite this minor issue. I waited until I washed them a couple of times to check. These are great leaves! I really wanted a set of linen sheets but most of these are so expensive I can't even think about it…

Great investment (so far)

I waited about two months before writing this review as I wanted to see how they held up after use. So far I've been very satisfied. Lingerie isn't for everyone. People have different levels of tactile sensitivity, and it may seem too rough or prickly for some. Not me. I wear underwear all the time and I love it. So I knew what I was getting myself into in terms of feel, care and benefit. I would recommend having some linens in your closet before fully investing in linen bedding. If you like…

I'm not sure I expected that.

excited when I found her. Other reviews sold it for me, but I'm not entirely sure I'm happy with it. They came on time (great!) and would make them softer. They also have many thick dark threads woven into them. It's not enough to make it look like a pattern or on purpose. Instead, it looks like someone accidentally dropped a Bic pen on my sheets a few times. I washed them on low speed and let them dry to see if they were soft and they got a little softer. Definitely great value for money and definitely better than cotton! So cool and comfortable

I live in Arizona and we've had a fever for a few weeks. It was stuffy lying on my old cotton sheets even without the top sheet - every point my body made contact with the bed became hot and sweaty.
