This mat really catches litter when my cat comes out of her box. I've only recently used it and I don't know anything about waterproofing. It doesn't slip on my hardwood floors so I'm happy.

I use them as pet feed mats and am very satisfied. They wash well and stand up to the disinfection cycle, are non-slip and won't absorb spilled water etc., which is a huge advantage over those silicone mats that get uncomfortable and slippery. I love cute colors too, it's surprisingly hard to find something that isn't gray and boring.

I bought this to control small pieces of dry cat food and it works really well. The bowls fit perfectly and will hold almost any extra bits that cats throw out of their mouths when they leave the area. The bowls stay still and most of the shards stick to the mat.

Does everything it promises. And I was grateful to be able to get the pink color I needed for my bathroom as I was having trouble finding it. I gave it four stars because the paws are a design flaw, as you can imagine if you think about it a little, they connect to junk. This was not the purpose of using the product.
