A wedding in heaven!

I knew I fell in love the moment I put on this pair of socks. The fit was perfect unlike socks designed for either big or small feet. They fit perfectly and feel like they were made just for my feet. Thick padding is simply luxurious. The wool does not itch at all; they are very soft. I often wear synthetic socks to work and my feet smell bad in the middle of the day. I can wear these socks for DAYS and my feet don't smell at all. They are amazing! They are comfortable and warm and cold. Feet…

Good socks but definitely worse than the socks they made 3 years ago.

So there's a trend in America where you make a fantastic product of the highest quality and then sell the company to a counter or take cost-cutting measures yourself. They keep cutting corners and edges until the product is just like any other product on the market. When a company changes this product, it can be said that it is not done to improve the product, but to save money and make it cheaper. The socks they made 3 years ago are vastly superior to the socks made today. I'm pretty sure the…

Shrinks easily in the dryer

I wear 9 1/2 shoes so took a size 10-12. They've been in the dryer for a bit and are very snuggly now. I wish I had XL socks but they will work for now. Update: They shrunk after the second wash and now fit very snugly the first time you put them on. I contacted the company and they told me they were preshrunk so they wouldn't shrink. I was then told not to use heat when drying which is inconsistent with the care instructions. The final opinion is that they appear to be decently made socks, but

The best sock I've ever had.

I found out about these socks on long hikes. Why haven't I heard of these socks before? These are the most comfortable and durable socks I have ever bought and put on. I've traditionally been buying Gold Toe socks for 30 years. I bought 3 pairs of these socks to try, love the feel of them. They hug the foot for a snug fit. They don't stick around the toes in the boot and don't slip off the foot, but very little. I can't say enough good things about these socks and will be buying more to replace

  • absolute legend

Best 1/4 inch socks I have!

Excellent socks! The reviews for these socks were 95% positive, so I decided to give it a try. I have about 16 pairs of damn durable lightweight hiking socks and 4 pairs of Coolmax and I love both. I wanted 1/4 inch high socks that are damn strong and wasn't disappointed in buying them! I went with Big. I have a size 124E foot and at first they almost felt long as if they were loose or the heel of the toe didn't really line up with my heel but they fit well. I wore them for 2 days and they…

Definitely hard, comfortable but not for diabetics.

After being unable to find any merino wool hiking socks with a non-compression band for diabetics (a SERIOUS gap in the market for sock makers!), I decided to just buy the three most recommended brands (Darn Tough , Smartwool, Farm2feet) and try them all to see if any of them work for me as a diabetic. I have to say that Darn Tough seems to be the thickest and heaviest of the three. No wonder they have such a reputation for durability. If I wasn't diabetic I would definitely buy more of these…

Definitely hard, comfortable but not for diabetics.

After I couldn't find any merino wool hiking socks with non-compression tape for diabetics (a SERIOUS hole in the sock market!), I figured I'd just buy the three most recommended brands (gosh Tough, Smartwool, Farm2feet) and try them all to see if any of them work for me as a diabetic.
