The automatic open and close mechanism is incredibly handy, and the size is just right. The only downside is that it is a bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for with this umbrella.

This is a good umbrella—it may well be an excellent umbrella. Large, Windproof - Exceeds specifications for the job. The range includes classic British models, but made in New York. Looks good too! I wanted something so expensive that I didn't want to lose or forget it - that's definitely true.

I took the umbrella out of the box and the silver metal tip at the end of the umbrella fell off. is that supposed to happen? There is no indication of this on the packaging. I'm trying to find out if it's ok before sending it back. why does it fall off if i can put my own rubber tip on the end of the umbrella, where can i buy the rubber tip? This should be stated on the packaging.
