First of all, the reviews are correct that helmets are too small. I usually wear small but after measuring my head and using the size chart I realized I was close to a small/medium size. So based on the other reviews I decided on the medium. I'm so glad I did. Even the medium is quite dense, but I believe it will be perfect after the break.
