Review on 🏍️ DOT Approved Daytona Helmets 3/4 Open Face Motorcycle Helmet with Graphics by Brandon Woodson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I can't believe it worked for my pointy head!

I have a hard time wearing helmets that fit my oval head, I don't think I have a long oval but I think it's a little higher than the middle oval. I recently ordered the Bell Custom 500 and after 5 minutes realized it wouldn't fit me as it was snug against my forehead. I decided to try this Daytona helmet. When I first tried it I wasn't entirely sure, it seemed to me that there was some tightness on the forehead but not as severe as the others I tried. I spent a week deciding whether to send it back or try it. In the end I decided to keep it and rode it all day. No problem! I couldn't believe it! I was really glad it worked because this helmet has some nice features, great looks and finish, good earphone pockets for intercom speakers, light weight and a ratchet strap. All at a good price. I wouldn't call it super comfortable, but it's very close. I had no problems installing Cardo. The only issue I had was the tabs on the visor didn't work properly and one day the visor fell off in my hand when I reached out to make a small adjustment. I think I could fix this by crimping the buttons on the visor a bit, but I just used a visor from my old helmet with slightly better quality buttons. I ride the Street Glide so I have a bit of wind protection, but I haven't had any noise or helmet blow-back issues. This is definitely a helmet to try if you are looking for an open face helmet.
