Stylish and Sporty: DC Girls Trase Skate Purple Girls' Athletic Shoes Review

These shoes are really good, seem to be of good quality and look exactly like the pictures. My son was SO excited about them! Unfortunately they are very narrow. He has a bit wide feet, but somehow Vans walks. We really wanted it, he loves skating and I know DC shoes serve their purpose for this type of activity. If your kids have wide feet, chances are they are too narrow for them. I read that her other styles of shoes are great for everyone so let's try them out.

I returned a pair of shoes that were too small. They sent me these shoes but they haven't arrived yet. I want these shoes. My son has already gone to school, he is the only one of my children who went to school in his old shoes on the first day. I'm sure he'll be fine, but it stinks they're not here. What do we do next?

Good quality, fast delivery, but too small. Bought a pair for each of my kids and NONE fit. I just bought shoes in the same size from K-Mart (as a spare/athletic shoe) and they have room to grow. I couldn't even fit her feet in these DC's so it can't be that I'm just fooling around and ordering the wrong sizes. :(I'm going back and ordering a bigger size for each one, hope they get here and get there before school starts!

For those who paint shoes, they are perfect! I was able to purchase them very cheaply and the surface was perfect for acrylic paint. The color didn't matter because it was painted over, but these were red. I bought these for my daughter and drew Shopkins on them. She says they are very comfortable and cute.

Looks great I don't know what it is but when I buy my son shoes in his size in DC they don't fit unless he's wearing thin socks. So they won't last long, but they look and feel great.

I ordered these for my 7 year old son and I love the way they look. He hasn't worn them yet because we bought them for him to go to school in a couple of weeks so I can't comment on how they hold up or how comfortable they are but I know they're about a size and one size have half. small. He usually wears a size 3 so I ordered him a size 4.5 BC, the reviews said they run small and I wanted him to be able to wear them for a while. I'm glad I did as they are the same length as his size 3 Reeboks.

Age. they are SOOOOO dirty! we have teal and my kid is 7 years old and gets them dirty. but she's not THAT active, so what the heck. Anyway, we've washed them twice in the washing machine and they're still not very clean, and now they're even a bit faded. ba. what ever. glad they were cheap.

The shoes were of good quality as expected and the shoes were definitely designed to be worn. These are durable and comfortable shoes for kids!

I think it's just a DC shoe size because both the size 11's I bought for my daughter were smaller than expected. But nice shoes at a good price.

Received these DC skateboards as a gift...and had to send them back as they were already used and dirty. Abrasion and dirt all over the top and sides and solid chunks of dirt on the tread... These weren't new shoes.

Arrived on time and in perfect condition. However, these sneakers feel a bit smaller than others. Some of them wear a size 6.5, I ordered a size 7 and they fit closer to a size 6.

I bought a size up based on other reviews and it ended up being a size up. Shoe is very nice but fits kind of small. Cant walk on these shoes long, makes my foot hurt after a few hours.. I decided to keep them once my son grows up in them.

I didn't like it because it's very hard for the kid, the size is smaller than normal, it didn't fit my son. I didn't live up to my expectations for a big brand

My son is a size 3 in almost every shoe and it fits great. They were difficult to put on and very comfortable. We decided to just keep them for little brother instead of giving them back. Both of my kids who wear three said they were too tight and uncomfortable.

Great shoes, great style and much more! What more could you want from children's shoes?!? I'm just happy to find shoes that my kid loves, but that's not a fortune! This is his second pair!

My son loves these shoes but they run small and narrow. If your child has a wider foot, it probably won't work well. I bought them a size 10.5 but they fit more like a 10. They are good for preschoolers.

These shoes are so cute I wanted to love them. Unfortunately the fit is too small and they are terrible even if the size is right. I even tried buying elastic laces and they still don't fit well. All in all a waste of money

The back of the shoe is very thin and folds inward when you put it on. My almost 5 year old hates wearing them. They're cute, but not if you want to straighten your back every time you put them on. Maybe we should have gone up a size.

Great shoes! Thick sole, durable construction, withstands the impact of my 14 year old son. DCs are always worn the longest and look great with jeans or pants when needed.

My son loves this. Very stylish. Definitely keeps up compared to Vans and is well made for half the price. In the future I will choose DC over others.
