A good product! - Body and Fairing

After folding in half and starting from the center of the bonnet and working from side to side, this is a very good bonnet panel, I am happy with it. Would buy again.

    Good product for spare parts

What is the difference. The hood no longer gets hot. Difficult to install without removing the hood from the car, but we managed. Extremely sticky so should last a long time.

    Excellent hood insulation

Excellent hood insulation and lining. If you are replacing a worn hood panel on a Mustang, simply remove the old part and use it as a template on that part. The insulation has a strong adhesive that conforms to the curves of the metal and also absorbs engine noise. Excellent for this money!

    • This is amazing
    Cons
    • Long delivery time

    THOROUGHLY CLEAN SURFACES.

Works modestly well. Looks professional. People complaining about sticking probably haven't cleaned the surfaces well enough. Use detergent first, then alcohol. Sticks great. The soundproofing is pretty good. Don't expect silence, but it definitely "muffles" the sound significantly.

    Pros
    • Very good value for money
    Cons
    • I don't like it at all, everything is fine

Not sticky enough to stick to the hood

This is a versatile product that had to be cut and fitted to the underside of my new carbon fiber hood. After installation, the adhesive on the back wasn't strong enough to hold it to the hood, it sagged and eventually fell off. This is a cheap product and does not adhere properly to the underside of the hood. I would not recommend this product.

A great option to replace the hood trim!

I used this kit to replace my sagging bonnet panel on my VW Jetta TDi; MK5 (from 2005 to 2010). I have 2006. Just a few step-by-step tips: 1. Remove the old liner and leave it as intact as possible (you will use it in the next steps). I had braces (you may have others), be careful. 2. Thoroughly clean/wash the inside of the hood. Dry with blower/towel.3. Lay the old liner on top of this replacement liner on the floor, noting the orientation in which it will be installed. This means you will…
