I laugh that I have to write a negative review about COTTON BALLS! How bad do they have to be to get that kind of attention? Too bad I didn't read the reviews before buying as they are of very poor quality. You are tiny. Try using five to match the density of a healthy regular cotton pad. It is impossible. They are not on velcro. You are just wasted in pieces with your application product. I felt so wasteful leaving them, but 1000 ball pockets take up a lot of space and I have nothing to use…

I thought I would get a lot for it, but unfortunately not. These cotton balls are too small. They are smaller than a medium sized cotton ball. I will not buy these again. I do not recommend.

Smaller cotton balls that are good for targeted applications (e.g. isopropyl alcohol for small wounds). They are about half the size of "large" cotton balls from the drugstore. When wet, they're about a dime in size. They are tightly woven like other cotton balls and are white. I like them more for targeted cosmetic use than for applying tonic or removing nail polish.
