The fittings are very cheap and bent when I tried to insert them into the wall. The mirror itself is fine. You have to get really close to use the 10x zoom, which means I have to lean over the bathroom counter to get to it. I have a feeling it will eventually come out of the wall.

I've had this for a few months now. It was a pretty easy install. Goes great with my bathroom (deep countertop, and sometimes you just need your face in the mirror!). I love that I can turn it upside down to enlarge it and fold it back against the wall. I highly recommend this (in fact, others in my house have since bought for their bathroom because it's a good deal).

The zoom page is very distorted, only a small area in the center is clear, so the size does not matter. Product photos are misleading, even at 2 inches, only the center is visible. Despite the fact that it is strong and large, it is not worth buying. I've already damaged the wall and need to find something that will work with the same sized bracket to cover the holes in the wall.

I'm practically blind both at a distance and up close. It was always difficult to get close enough to the bathroom mirror to apply makeup or tweezers. it was a life saver! My husband attached it directly to the side panel and I pulled and inserted it with no problem (although he used his own dowels). Anyway, I don't have to bend over the sink anymore (back hurts too), now I stand up straight, pull it out and can apply cosmetics/makeup without straining my back or eyes. The magnifying glass page

I was glad to get this as it was very similar to what I had in my previous home. Had to send it back as the 10x page is VERY distorted. Without my glasses there is enough room to see one eye up close without distortion. If someone has suffered from dizziness, it can cause a real problem. Also the hand doesn't go as far as my previous one. Too bad I didn't buy it before moving and would trade it in. LOVED MY OLD (sorry don't remember the brand). I wish I had understood before installing.

We recently moved and I had to give up my 8x wall mirror. Used all the time, great for eyebrows! I wanted another one in my new home and when I bought it I saw a bigger increase and made the mistake of thinking bigger is better. This is not the case with magnifying mirrors. The mirror is curved in such a way that the clear field of view is extremely small and I have trouble finding the right spot.
